I agree. Very good year for Bracken. It will be interesting to see how they do next season.

Very nice comeback for Pendleton, who trailed by 9-10 points in the 4th quarter. Hit 19-24 free throws in the 2nd half, which was HUGE. Bracken, meanwhile, failed to take advantage of opportunities at the stripe. Lady Bears got little to nothing from anyone not named Sticklen. The freshmen played like freshmen tonight--a great effort but just not the results. Sometimes that just happens with very young teams, which is what Bracken County has been all year.

 

Having said that, the future is very bright for the Lady Bears. They far exceeded expectations of most people remotely associated or familiar with the program. Congrats to Coach Kelsch & the Lady Bears on an outstanding season! :thumb:

A lot will be expected of this group over the next several years, I did not expect them to win this game, PC had too much experience working for them. To beat Mason and St. Pat for district was more than enough to satisfy expectations for this season. Job well done PK, you have the horses(fillies) for a longer run next season in ALL A and region.

I agree. This team has everything they need to compete for Regional Title next year. However, St. Pat only loses Mosler, so they will be right there again. Congrats PK on a great season!
