Bishop Brossart will open their 2011 softball season with practice on Tuesday as they try to maintain their Number 1 Ranking from 2010. The team was ranked No. 1 all of 2010. Back are Pitcher Alicia Miller, Catcher Lindsey Griffith, Infielder Molly Williams and Infielder/Outfielder Natalie Woeste who head a record 38 who signed up for this years team. The team is looking forward to a Spring Break Trip to Jacksonville, Florida in March:D

Bishop Brossart will be even better this year then the team that was 28-9 and Ranked Number One on every poll last year all year. Miller, Griffith, Williams, Woeste and a host of talented newcomers. Brossart is like 22-2 against Scott lifetime. Upsets happen

Should be right there. Still have Miller, Griffith, Williams, Woeste and some very very great young players. Conner, Ryle Brossart should be 1-2-3 as far as pitchers alsong with Hausfeld from NCC.

The Alexandria Gazette had them ranked #1 all year, where you been man.

Oh and do you have a link for the number one ranking they have this season. I would like to view the rankings..............

If Ryle does not get every first place vote, then the poll is a joke. They return most if not all of there key players from last years team. BB should be ranked some where in the top 5.

 

Holy Cross should get some votes for top 5. They pushed Ryle to the limit in the semi finals of the 9th last year and was 1 out from a possible upset. They did not lose much and have a freshman pitcher that will be one of the better pitchers in the Region. They also return their shortstop (Moran) who might be the best player in NKY, she is only a Sophmore but already has several offers from D1 schools and some strong interest from some major D1 schools.

 

Good Luck to all teams this season. Seems like NKY has better teams this year than in years past.
