First time that I've seen Eastern in person since their most recent trip to the Sweet 16. It seems like they have all the talent there, but had a really poor shooting night. I was really impressed with Kameron Woods and how far his game has come. Abell looked as advertised.

 

For Tates Creek, Ryan Fucci was unconscious tonight. Eastern was on a mini-run with Abell and Woods resting on the bench and I had a feeling that they were about to put Tates Creek in a position they didn't want to be in (playing from around 8-10 down against Eastern with their style of offense), but Fucci hit two deep threes to close the 35-30 gap. After that, I don't know if Tates Creek trailed again.
