Final from Tates Creek High School.

Big win for the Creek. Coach Breeding has them playing at a high level.

Way to go Tates Creek and coach Breeden!!! Can't wait to see the new state rankings next week.

First time that I've seen Eastern in person since their most recent trip to the Sweet 16. It seems like they have all the talent there, but had a really poor shooting night. I was really impressed with Kameron Woods and how far his game has come. Abell looked as advertised.

For Tates Creek, Ryan Fucci was unconscious tonight. Eastern was on a mini-run with Abell and Woods resting on the bench and I had a feeling that they were about to put Tates Creek in a position they didn't want to be in (playing from around 8-10 down against Eastern with their style of offense), but Fucci hit two deep threes to close the 35-30 gap. After that, I don't know if Tates Creek trailed again.

It's Wayne Breeden.

Another link from the Lexington Herald Leader, from reporter Mike Fields, who was at the game:

And to correct my earlier post, Fucci cut into the Eastern run around 20-16 instead of 35-30.

Another huge win for Tates Creek. They've know beaten J'town and Eastern. I don't think there's any question that they're top 5.

Tates Creek could be the clear cut favorite to win the 11th

Huge win for TC, they play great defense, holding Eastern to only 46 points, wow!!
