Just a thought... If Beechwood were to freakishly beat Holmes then you would end up with 2 teams at (2-1) - (Holmes and the winner of the CCH/HC game), and two teams at (1-2) - (Beechwood and the loser of the CCH/HC game). So if they don't use head-to-head for ties then does CCH & HC still have a chance at a Number 1 seed, and does Beechwood still have a shot at the Number 3?

I can't see any reason to think BW is the better team in any way. HC dominated them in the All A and won this time around with a terrible start and just plain dropping the ball from the free throw line. Not to mention that Burger had the worst game I have seen him play since last year. I think the bigs for HC really have to step up and keep Thelen and Connely out of the lane or it will be a long night in the paint for the Indians.

My understanding is that if Holy Cross and Beechwood are tied with a 1-2 record in the district that head-to-head is not used as a tiebreaker. It would be a blind draw to see who is the #3 and who would be #4 seed. I may be wrong and please let me know for sure.

 

If there is a 2-way tie they use head-to-head. In the 35th if there would be a 3-way tie they first have the coaches vote (seems odd to me) and then if that doesn't do it they do a blind draw.

Even though they won this game, I think Beechwood may have the better team here.

 

BW has had two chances to show that this year yet they lost by 30 and lost again after having a 15 pt lead.

I would give Holy Cross a better chance at the upset to regionals just by the fact their is no team in the 35th that can shoot the 3 better than them.If they get hot they can shoot it 1-5 and 3 deep off the bench that can shoot.
