How in the heck did they win without Stauffer. As the old cheer goes - "Just like football!"

SK just flat didn't get it done in the paint. They started off on fire from the arc but once that well ran dry they struggled to score. SK was absolutely horrific when they attempted to pass into the paint, way too many turnovers.

Agreed! it was 18 all after the first period, and then they went COLD! Nick Ayers is still out, not sure if he will be back tomorrow night Vs Anderson Co (regular game times), they "should" do very well that game. But as you said, TURNOVERS! They have to improve A LOT! I still can't understand why big men want to put the ball on the ground in the lane.

 

Perkins did a nice job tonight for Ryle.

What happened to Stauffer?

I like what I saw out of Perkins and Mullins tonight. Hopefully soon SK will have their complete lineup, they really haven't been at full strength the entire season but time is dwindling and they only have one win over a higher ranked team (per LIT/Cantrall). They have some very nice perimeter players but at some point they have to get some sort of consistency in the paint. I don't know what the rebounding stats were tonight but I would bet they were beaten on the boards, SK was one shot and done on way too may possessions. Anyone know the status of Stauffer?
