Saw the replay... great game. Freedom Hall looked odd.... U of L banners, UK floor. Perfect setting I guess for rivals to play.

We braved the cold and went to Freedom Hall. What a fun game to watch!. I never thought T looked all that comfortable - X kind of imposed their will as to the pace of the game. T was the better team, but X sure was prepared. The tigers almost turned the tables from the meeting in the LIT. And for the record, there are 8,000 seats in the YUM Center that are worse for watching a game than the WORST seat in Freedom Hall.

How about the last play of the game? X had to travel length of the floor with 4.5 seconds remaining and after 3 passes had open look at the top of the key to tie it.

Great designed play by Klein! Baseball pass to left side of halfcourt where player passed ball to left side about three point line and then Lilly flashed to top of key(I believe off screen) to get a open look.

 

As far as game went, I thought that Trinity allowed X to grab momentum early and had difficulty the whole night recovering. Credit to X for hitting shots but I think if Duedonne and Foster start and T sets the tempo early as they did in LIT, this wouldn't have been nearly as close of a game. Will only know if they play again?

I was glad to see it was more interesting game to watch than the LIT. Love to watch all the kids play but especially like watching Saxton (T) and Ising (X). They seem to give 110% all the time as well as great team players.
