Who wins and why?

South seems to be playing as good as any team in the region right now. I'll take South by 12.

South by 14. Oldham county is a high scoring team but I think the defense from South will prevent them from scoring a lot of points.

Local paper in Oldham picks the Colonels. There is some motivation for the South players!

South by 18. South will defend much better than most of the teams on the Colonels schedule.

WOW!! They should be forced to resign. South should be a heavy favorite.

I'm expecting a really close game. All this talk of a blowout - either way - makes no sense to me, having watched both teams. THAT SAID...it IS a rivalry game. Strange things happen...

The rivalry factor does make a difference. Still think South will win by double digits, but if not, I've been wrong before.

1) Yes, it most definitely is a rivalry game.

2) It is being played at Oldham Co.

3) Yes, strange things can happen in these types of rivalry games. The last time these two squared off at OC, the Lady Colonels eeked out a very controversial win in after extra time was put on the clock, and they hit a go-ahead basket after the Lady Dragons had apparently won. This just adds a little spice to tonight's game

I think it will be closer than you think. Maybe an upset???
