I was wondering the same thing. As a citizen of Nky, I enjoy all the great high school football and try to follow as many teams as I can. My son has friends that play Brossart, Bellevue, and Campbell Co., so I try to follow these schools more than the others (only for the boys' that come over all the time). Is there or will there be a firm answer to this question?

 

It seemed like ABC2 had some "insider" information....Can you enlighten us on what has happened?

First off, maybe u have reading problems b/c I do believe the coach said he would be meeting with the powers that be soon.. then the thread was closed, no questions answered.. is he going to still be the coach? Nobody knows, so before you make blank accusations check your own info... and to coach shearer, good luck, coaching in a small school is nearly impossible these days.. too many parents who have too much of the admin's ear...

Just because a coach gives a response in a thread does not make it "the be all and end all' of the situation. I really question even getting involved in a thread as a coach at times especially when you cannot shed light on what the real problems are.

 

I will say that what has really transpired over the course of this season will never see the light of day on any posts............but for now he is still the football coach until we hear otherwise.

Yes, emperor I have high reading comprehension. I was asking if anything further had developed. Again, that thread closed on Monday and it is now Wednesday. Many things can happen in two days. That is why I am curious, and I didn't start a new thread on Monday or even Tuesday for that matter. Once, I saw this thread, I checked it to see if something happened or if anyone that is from Bellevue knew of anything.

 

I'll be sure to PM you before my next post to make sure that I can proceed with what it is I want to say.

Look just because a situation is not working out for a coach does not mean the people in charge are shortsighted. I am not familiar enough with the situation to say one way or the other but coaches have to take responsibility for their actions as well............and if the administration so chooses they have the right to make a change based on any coaches actions.

The thing I noticed at the Beechwood/Bellevue game was the some of the Bellevue coaches were still coaching the boys in the 2nd half. They hadn't given up, they weren't yelling, they were teaching....that got my attention! That is not easy to do when it is all but over! I wish them the best of luck.
