November 18, 201015 yr Not only did the Steelers use the franchise tag on Jeff Reed, but they cut him later that season. Funny that you don't hear the criticism when it's the Steelers... I'm assuming that was aimed at me. I didn't know they used the tag on him. Pretty dumb, but given the Steelers' history of smart front office moves, I'm willing to call it an aberration.
November 18, 201015 yr What's dumb is that Reed's agent has reported the Bengals were 1 of 2 teams to contact him...
November 18, 201015 yr Wow. Think about all the guys he'd have to top for that award. I'm struggling to think of a bigger tool. Lebron comes to mind, but I'm bias. Roethlisberger? I also can't stand Jesse Palmer if he counts. Maybe even a little bit of Ryan Sheckler (skateboarder if you count that as sports)? Lawrence Taylor? Jamarcus Russell? Clemens is kind of a tool. Barry Bonds was also kind of a tool. Jeremy Shockey? Shawn Merriman? I could go all day...

November 18, 201015 yr I know a lot of us can agree that Chris Carpenter is on the top of our tool list. I would love to Cueto that guy right in the face.
November 18, 201015 yr Yep. Good news for Andrus is that it appears Joe Nedney is out and he kicked for the 49ers last season and was in competition during the preseason. Andrus was signed yesterday by the 49ers.
