Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One

Featured Replies

A little over a week away until the midnight showing. I'm EXTREMELY excited and got my tix today. Who else is pumped? I can't wait...going to try and reread DH this weekend.

Read DH last night. I myself already have my tickets and my Harry Potter costume ready for the midnight showing . I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to HP. There are 7 of me and my sisters friends that are all dressing up as death eaters.

I'm completely pumped about this but the movies always let me down. 6 was very disappointing when compared to the book.

I'll agree. Mainly with the fact that they didnt put enough information about the Horcruxes in them.

Every year, we go see a movie on Thanksgiving. This will be our family movie this year.

Looking forward to it.

Can't stand the Harry Potter movies...They do such an injustice to the books it's sickening.

Time had passed before I read any of the first 6 books and the movie, and I only read each book once (although since, I have read the first two again and notice the differences more). I have read DH 3 times now (I know, get a life), and I wonder how I will feel to see difference in the movie as it will be difficult to capture it all in a movie.

Daughter is going tomorrow night, dressing as Bellatrix Lestrange.

I'm a huge fan of Bellatrix.

I enjoyed the movie and think that once Part II is released and they can be watched consecutively then it will be a lot more satisfying, but ultimately this one left me feeling incomplete.

I must say I'm extremly impressed with how close alot of the information was to the book. I'll give a better review when I see the movie again later today

Also I didnt like how they left out the Lupin scene at Grimmauld Place.

Agreed.

Forgot to add this last night...the addition of the Harry & Hermoine dancing scene is ridiculous.
