November 7, 201015 yr I love chaos in the polls and was rooting for an LSU win for that reason. More than likely LSU will not be playing in the SEC Championship game, which will give them no chance to move up any further than 5, unless someone trips up. Course the best case scenario now is that Alabama beats Auburn and we get to have the fun debate about which "lesser" team gets a shot at the National Title. It's all about the math. TCU is now #3 in the Coaches poll and will probably be #3 in the Harris Poll. Boise is #4 in Coaches poll. I would venture that LSU will move up to #4 in the computers, and Nebraska will move to #5. Boise will be #6. If LSU wins out and Boise also wins out. It is very possible that LSU would pass Boise in the BCS poll.
November 8, 201015 yr Bama Fans are upset but realize you get what you deserve. Play callin/no pass rush on 3rd and 13/coaches not realizing the Mad Hatter/young defense no leader/QB play/. LSU was very beatable, but made the plays and out coached us. They knew we don't rush the QB well so their pass patterns gave them time to break open. Hogs play LSU at home. I got into trouble when I didn't like a LSU person coming over and saying stuff on a Bama board. Mama wants me to go into a room by myself for a couple of days. Heading there in a minute. Still have some key games left, and the Bull Dogs wil be a handfull. Son doesn't want to go to school on Monday, so he won't. JCPS are off.
November 8, 201015 yr Alabama's biggest hurdle was the scheduling. Beginning with South Carolina, their last 6 SEC opponents have or will be coming into the 'Bama game from a bye week. Granted the Tide themselves had a bye prior to the LSU game, which negates that issue to some degree. There's not a team in college football that could play... @ South Carolina vs. Ole Miss @ Tennessee @ LSU vs. Mississippi State vs. Auburn ...with all those teams coming off of bye weeks and come out of it unscathed. In fact, I don't think there's a team that would make it through with less than 2 losses. 'Bama might have 3 or 4 before its done. Call it whatever you want, but that's brutal. The SEC schedule is grueling enough, but when your game is circled on everyone's calendar and they get to come in rested with an extra week to prepare just for you, it's not happening.

UK comes to town and you beat them, at the end of the years you go into your meeting to upgrade your contract, they say "we are NOT gonna give you raise", "hold on there, we beat UK". Same as Bama, and that goes with our tradition. SEC has came out and stated that this will never happen again.

UK fans can relate to an extent...fortunately for us, SEC basketball is a completely different, and much more tame, animal. :lol: Every team might want to beat UK, but in the end, it's just basketball, right? Just something to kill time until Spring Practice kicks off.

Alabama's biggest hurdle to me was expectations. They were not as good as advertised IMO because they lost way too much on the defensive side of the ball.
