Yeah they will be tough. I think you will see them hurting in the beginning of the season with the loss of Gerwe, Warning, Klein and Stayton. They never have a problem with their bats with the style fo ball Krumps plays. Pitching will be there biggest problem. Right now I would say either Shumate or Arnzen. With Hellman as the number 2 or 3.

AS hard as Shumate been working he could be one of the top pitcher in the 9th. AS for Arnzen he is one of the top underclassman around.

No not in any order, and for Johnson of Beechwood he proved he will be one of the better pitchers in NKY. He had a great fall season and heard he had a good summer,he will be playing at the next level.

Not sure why you would think the top hitter in the 9th last season (hit over .500) would only be 4th best this coming season. Hempel is a better pure hitter than the other three. And, beleive me, I think the other three are very nice hitters and overall players.

Im friends with alot of Ryle dads and they have told me multiple times that Hempel was a great hitter, but alot of his hits were bloopers and bleeders. Believe me I think hes a great hitter and I believe great hitters get the job done. But I just feel like the other 3 hit the ball harder and are more "hitters" than "swingers".

Sure, he had his sure of cheap hits. All hitters do. I'm sure the others had their fair share of cheap hits too. You don't hit over .500 at the varsity level playing the competition Ryle does unless you are a special hitter. "Swinger" is not an accurate word to describe his hitting style all. He is a very deliberate hitter with a very good eye. Rarely chases a bad pitch and usually hits the ball solid. The only negatives I could find with his hitting are that I think he is sometimes a bit too patient and I would like to see him hit with a bit more power. He certainly has the size and strength. I would take him over the Boone hitters without question.

Uuhhh, yeah with the facilities they have. The Bill Schott Center has been compared to an Olympic training center but on the High School level. Along with parent and community support, they are second to none IMO!

I think you're overestimating the center. It's essentially a room that has two batting cages.
