Most polls, leading up to today, were showing Rubio with 42%-45% of the vote and the remainder split evenly between Crist and Meek. I voted for Maro. We're more concerned about the gubernatorial race here. BTW, I voted for Peter Allen. He's my kind of candidate, so he has no chance of winning, Independence Party Candidate, small budget, speaks to my issues. Rick Scott and Alex Sink are more of the same, regardless of what Scott proclaims. Sink does not try to hide it.

November 3, 201015 yr Hannity was really touting Rubio the other day on his radio show. I take most of what Hannity says with a grain of salt. Was he blowing smoke or does Rubio have a bright future on the national sceen? I don't listen to Hannity, but as Speaker of the Florida House he played a major role in changing the tax system here. My property taxes are almost half what they were just a few years ago. Some of that is the devalue of the market and the constitutional amendment to double the homestead exemption, but the reduction of the millage rate is the major part. Buy his book "100 Innovative Ideas for Florida's Future", if you can find it, and you'll get a feel of what he is like. I checked it out from the library and read it. It's based on his travels around the state, talking to constituents. (WHAT???? A politician that listens to his constituents?) Based on what he's done so far, he's stick pretty much to that script. One thing that could stop him where he is ... he's a Catholic. Being Hispanic doesn't necessarily mean he'll get that voting block either. While not in total agreement with the Arizona legislation, he does want to close the borders to illegals. He wants the Feds to do it, though, not leave it to the states. His parents immigrated legally to the US during the Communist Revolution in Cuba. We'll have to see what Washington does to him, though. Kind of looks like Tony DiNozzo, doesn't he?
