October 29, 201015 yr They are usually the losers in all of this unfortunately. It's sad but true, 9 times out of 10 when one of the ladiesbballcoach's prongs are missing at the elementary age it's the parent. Agree.

February 25, 201115 yr Still haven't made it out to see it but I did pick up the book. Finally saw it. Moving to say the least. How about NYC having a "room" for bad teachers to sit in all day while their case is reviewed? Full salary. Average wait in the room is 3 years. $100M annual cost just for this bunch. I'm still bothered by "it's the parents fault" thinking. That thinking seems to A)remove the accountability of the teacher and b)doom the child.
