He has done a great job he has to establish some wins against some quality opponents. But the answer the question he is a great coach.

This guy is a great coach, and from what I've heard even a better person. I've heard people talk that he's more of a life coach, with football being a bonus. Good for him.

 

That is very true he has three of his former players coaching along side him. He helps his former players even after graduation!

I understand he helps some of the kids get to practice. Some of my Covington friends say he's the best thing to happen at Holmes in football for many years.

During the summer when they have 6am practices, he and the other coaches would go pick up the players who had no other way of getting there. When the coach shows he cares about you being there, it makes the kids want to show up. One of the many reasons why Coach L is such a good fit for that Holmes program.

Holmes may not be able to consistently compete with Highlands, but they have some talent coming up that will allow them to compete with Covcath on a yearly basis.

Holmes didn't have anywhere near what they have now when Highlands and Covcath were in the district two years ago.

 

Holmes will consisently compete with Covcath if they end up in the same disctrict again.
