Same was said about Lyons and Martin. Rich. Chandler IS NOT going to qualify. Are they going to kick him out next October when the NCAA makes the ruling? Is Martin gone tomorrow? Come on Clyde...

Chandler's sitch and Martin's sitch are not the same. Chandler's will be known before the school year starts. Martin's was not.

You seem to have a tight one on for X. What part of the success they've had do you have a problem with? 80% grad rate? 100% grad rate for players that stayed four years?

No I'll say they skated another kid through to pad the stats. That's if he does graduate of course, or if they slide him out of the equation if he moves on before graduation. It's Eric Bledsoe on the college level. Yay X. Have you ever spent 10 seconds talking to CJ Anderson? College graduate???

Are you saying he didn't earn his degree?

So you know when the clearinghouse is going to decide on Chandler? Maybe you could pass that on to Coach Mack, because he is well aware of the potential for a partial qualifying situation and he is fine with it. Your info is beyond bad there. Mack knew the situation going in to recruiting him, and I can guarantee that.

No problem with X outside of the myths that are perpetuated about their academic "prowess". It's a farce, so I call a spade a spade.

I have no problem with them going after high major Prop 48 kids, because they are allowed to play that game. Just call it what it is, and be done with it. But if you want to believe X makes kids with a high school GPA in the 1.0 range somehow morph into college "graduates" the right way, go ahead...

I'm saying it was handed to him on a platter. Earn it???

Where do I begin? The two situations (Martin/Chandler) are not the same so my info is not wrong. It's my opinion (key) that it will be obvious one way or the other as to eligibility way before the fall semester begins. There isn't gray area like there was with Martin. IMO if Chandler doesn't get in (and the odds are indeed against it but not fait accompli) then a)they'll know early and b)he will not enroll at X.

Your accusation that X pushes kids through academically and gives out unearned degrees is beneath you and petty. Their record of success is envied by all major college programs and should be a model for others who have a history of academic struggles amongst their student-athletes. Your snapping at their heels approach is telling.

Lastly, your example of a 1.0 kid is also telling as it's nothing more than a diversion tactic from the truth which is that X, unlike UK or UC or most other major universities, has a history of success at graduating its student-athletes.

Mick has had only 1 player not graduate in his tenure at UC outside of Lance going pro.

I forgot Jeff Robinson as a partial qualifier, so Chandler would be the 4th in 4 years. Then you have Drew Lavander and his drug issues. Jordan Crawford had many of the same problems and was always an academic risk. Travis Taylor was suspended multiple times at his previous stop. Need me to go on? All about winning now on Victory Pkwy. No way around that one...

Your posts have proven that a)you don't know what you're talking about and b)your desire to criticize big brother XU has caused you to lose common sense and perspective.

Robinson was not a partial qualifier. He played last year.

Secondly, in regards to Martin and Lyons you still have no clue as to their respective situations. Yes, you are correct that they ultimately were ruled ineligible but your mischaracterization of the situation is obvious by your posts.

Add in that you slander kids who have actually performed at the necessary level to earn a college degree and you slander the professors and Sister Rose and the academic success program she has in place and it confirms my first point (you're clueless on this situation) and/or green is not a color worn well by you. You then try to shore up your inaccurate position by bringing up problems (legit as they might be) by others who have , again, performed in the classroom and , in Lavender's case, earned a degree. You're completely clueless on X and these individuals' situations. But you knew that already.

Obviously the wool is pulled firmly over your eyes, so no need to continue. My bad on Robinson, I forgot it was simply that he didn't make it into Purdue, and will likely be gone next year to make room for a kid like Chandler. Squeaky clean X. You got it...

You can do one of two things: 1. Call someone and confirm what I'm telling you or 2. continue to mislead your legion of followers. It's quite simple to verify what I'm telling you. You upto the challenge?

I know the company line on Victory Parkway very well, so no need to hear it again.

Face it, you and the X crowd may not like it, but the abundance of A) academic/prop 48 kids is on the upswing and b) transfers with a checkered past are also becoming a regular occurrence.

I'm sure saintly X and Sister Rose just so happen to be the one place in the game to get these kids on the right path. Comedy...

What do you know about the Travis Taylor situation Clyde? Just another good kid who landed at X after drug issues at his last stop? That's three in what 5 years to come into X???

Sure. Good call. Why would you call the person you know well that can clear it up for you when you can continue to post false information out of sheer ignorance. Good call on your part.

What do you know about the Travis Taylor situation Clyde? J?

Nothing.
