Nice effort by the Hounds, too many turnovers to beat a good team on the road though.

Anyone know the deal with the measurement on the first down early in the game? Instead of bringing the chains in, they took the ball from the middle of the field to the sidelines for the measurement.........:idunno::idunno:

 They do some strange things with the chains in that area. During one measurement at PCC, the chain actually had a loop in it when "stretched".

Tough loss for the Hounds but I continue to be impressed with some of the young kids they start.

Hazard has a very nice team this year and can do big things. It's true Corbin may not be the Corbin we are all used to but you better believe every team gets ready when they see that C on the side of the helmets. It's an intimidation factor and despite looking like all was bleak, Hazard show why they too are a traditional mountain power. Best of luck to the Dawgs of Hazard. This bunch at Corbin fought hard and may have gotten a little out of sync when the QB went out for the game but they got solid play by Cobb. Another tough matchup for the Hounds next week. One thing that I like is that Corbin is playing a tough schedule this year. They will be ready come playoff time.

Corbin biggest lead was 21-12 early in the 3rd quarter. Corbin lead 7-6 after 1st period; 14-6 at the half; 21-20 after 3rd; Hazard 35-28 final.

Hazard has alot of penalties and a couple of turnovers that really hurt them in the first half (fumble in the end zone). Corbin really played hard and gave the Buldogs a hard earned victory.

Good luck to both teams as the season progresses.
