Thank you so much for all of the info TCA.Yourself and other Raceland fans always make a great description of the game.

I for one Raceland fan that would love to be at all the games (home and away) like I used to be really appreciate it.:thumb:

Why is it that every year we travel to Nicholas Co HS the weather conditions are: RAIN, SLOOPY FIELD ect. It happens so often it seems like it's part of the NC defense!!:D It's like their 12 man!!:idunno:
RFC, I was going to all Ram games since around 74' or so and it almost always rained at NC. So, we can pretty accurately predict that every other year or so that this game signals the start of the monsoon/flood season. They must have someone that is very good at the rain dance.

Rams........congrats on getting off on a good start in the district :thumb::thumb:.

No celebrating, get ready to get back to work Monday to prepare for Paris and do not let all the activity that goes with homecoming ruin your focus. Fear no one, respect all..

Another must win.......................

MAKE IT HAPPEN!! :taz::taz::taz:

On the way to the game, people said, "why are you taking those canopies and umbrellas, it beautiful out"? The sun had been shining all day, temps in the 90's. I said, "we are playing Nicholas County". I have never been to a Raceland/Nicholas County game where it has not rained. And not to many where it did not rain hard. While everyone else was getting wet, me and the coaches were in the platform pretty darn dry under my canopy. Rookies! Then the team doctor, yells up to me after pregame and says, "The rains over, it's done". I said, "I will believe it's done when the game is over". He shrugs his hands as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Then after three quarters of continuous rain, he won't answer his phone so I can say, "Rookie".

Any who:

The good: 1-0 in the district for Raceland.

The bad: Obviously the weather conditions.

The ugly: The officiating. Wow. And, don't give that lame excuse of "The KHSAA is always taking application", because that don't hold water.

Ram, I am truly a "rookie" when it comes to being a weatherman. I didn't answer my phone because it was in my medical bag secured and DRY!!!!!! Haha

As far as officiating, nice guys. That's the only positive. When we go to Paris and Nicholas it always makes me appreciate our Region crews. Not only did they miss obvious calls, they didn't call the point of emphasis calls. Now, before anyone thinks for one minute I would have blamed the officials if we would have lost but they sure made it hard to do the things right.

Listen to The Ram, he will not lead astray.

8 players "Aiding" a runner, can you really miss that? Yes, literally 8, I counted them on the film.

I can't remember going to Nicholas County when it hasn't rained. Maybe that's just me.

Glad no serious injuries with the wet field, Farley did a good job considering the wind and heavy rains. Congrats Rams!

Yes you can say Rookies! Ram, being a seasoned veteran (sounds better than old fart:D) of many trips to NC I can certainly verify the rain factor. Also,I am not whining but I haved witnessed more than one "questionable" called game there as well. Plus......don't even get me started on Pickled Eggs!!!:sssh::lol:
Pickled Eggs!!!:sssh::lol:

I know how you love'em.

I know how you love'em.
In tribute to another Raceland alum......."Ya gotta love em"
