Eastern High School guard Remy Abell, one of the top five prospects in the state of Kentucky, has given a verbal commitment to Bradley University.

 

The 6-foot-4 Abell took a visit to Bradley recently and picked the Braves over Marshall, Penn State and Wright State.

 

Abell, a first-team All-Seventh Region performer as a junior, is the third player from Eastern to make a commitment. Lyonell Gaines will sign with IUPUI and Kameron Woods with Butler.

Three D-I players from one team....that's pretty impressive. I hope they all make Kentucky basketball proud.

Congrats Mr Abell. He may be adding a state Championship to that resume also given the lineup at Eastern this year.

Would've loved to see Ricardo Johnson commit to the Braves this past year as well and Abell join him in 2011.

 

Either way, BU is getting a heck of a player.
