So is mine. And perhaps if it's such an issue, we'd hear groaning from folks in Indiana, for instance, about there being a need for the rule that KY has limiting them from activities "outside the school". Sounds like Big Brother instead of a governing body.

I have to agree with you here. This is a very restricting rule. I have heard Indiana is holding camps and tournaments for the next month or so.

 

They have a summer league in Indy that most of the best players in the area play in. Each team plays 2 games every Sunday and then there is a tournament at the end. I think it lasts about 6 or 7 weeks...

I think it's pointless...

The reason I posted this was that someone or some type of governing body has limited our kids the right to play basketball before a team has officially been picked or an official practice has begun. How does this rule benifit any kid in any way. Let the kid or parent and coach have the final say. If this rule could change Northern Ky as well as Louisville and Lexington could run some super leagues in the fall and we would sure get a better feel for the talent out there. They could do it like Indiana and I would be fine with that. No more than three kids from the same school team.
