Why does Raceland not have a broadcast? I just don't understand that.

 

You tell me. One of the winningest programs in the area year in year out, and plays longer in the post season than most area team normally. But, the local radio stations only want to cover Raceland after their team is eliminated from post season play. I don't get it. I say we start turning the radio stations down when they come knocking in November, if we can do with out them in the regular season, we can do without them in the post season.

Why does Raceland not have a broadcast? I just don't understand that.

 

Because year in year out the Rams don't have the records of these teams that are on the radio: Greenup Co, Boyd Co, East Carter and Fairview. :lol::idunno: Maybe if we went a little deeper in post season play!!:idunno: Just having a lil fun. Who knows why

Maybe Raceland doesn't have a radio broadcast because everyone that would listen to the game is already at the field on Friday nights? That said I can't believe they don't have a regular broadcast, I think every team should be covered by someone.

 

I'll pick Raceland by a TD. Good luck to both teams.

The boy they had kicking in the WC scrimage looked pretty good, too bad the exchange student wasn't 6'5, 295 benching 350 & squatting 500 :lol:

We have to take what we can get (LOL). At least the last two times we've received exchange students they've had some athletic ability.

And the kicker we have now if not mistaken is only a soph. So he will be here this year and the next two years. No going back to GC or Russell because they can't get playing time or they get mad.

I must say though. If someone wants to transfer to Raceland Worthington High School and wants to really be a Ram. Everyone will welcome him or her with open arms. It's these parents that transfer and bounce these kids all over the schools in the area. They move every time Johnnie doesn't get to start or maybe gets a C on his or her report card.

I think that would be whole seperate thread, coupled with parents that hold their kids back for sports... :confused::confused::confused:
