The Jordan Palmer Thread

This Sage Rosenfels?

Yup, seems like a Bengal to me :D.

I remember watching that game. He had great heart trying to do that, but also very dumb haha. However I would take him any day of the week over the backups the Bengals have now. He would be one of the better backups in the league IMO.

Just because he went all Peyton Manning last week on some guys who were going to get cut at the end of training cap? C'mon man his duties last year were filling the water bottles, holding a clipboard, a scouting the stands for talent for another one of the Vikings boat parties.

Great heart on that play though? Maybe. It had to be one of the dumbest plays in history though. They were running out the clock and that play allowed Indy to get back in the game, and eventually win it if I remember correctly. I can see it now, Palmer's hurt, Bengals driving for a win in the first round against San Diego... Rosenfels scrambles for a first down, and he tries to helicopter over Shawn Merriman! He loses the ball, Ocho and TO lose their heads and Marvin Lewis loses his job. Now that would be a great episode of Hard Knocks.

Jordan is gonna be a stud one day, leave him alone.

I would take him every day of the week over what they have now. He would not be a bad backup to have at all. Hardly any team in the NFL has a backup who will come in and do great, that is why they are backups. However he would give them a better chance than what the two backups they have now give them.
