Knicks to form own Big 3?

That would make for one hell of an NBA in my opinion.

If they can put Paul with 2 big time scorers in a D'antoni system it would be scary. Throw the scoring records out the window if this ever comes to fruition.

I agree. I think this Big 3 with D'antoni's system would be better then what the Heat have going on right now.

Paul, Amare & Anthony wouldn't be nearly as dangerous as Wade, James & Bosh.

Also, didn't the Beijing agreement include Paul?

If you read the article you'll see Paul said at Carmelo's wedding "Lets create our OWN Big 3!" I think Paul, Amare, and Melo' complement each other a lot better then the Big 3 in South Beach do.

That would be awesome. If they could get a shooter at the 2 then they would be scary good and a lot of fun to watch.

They just signed Azubuike so maybe he could fill the 2 spot. Man having this team, Boston, Orlando, and the Heat in the East would be awesome!

I definitely could see this. I think Melo wants to be on the East Coast and just looks like a Knick. CP3's stock would go through the roof in NY.

Those 3 would be tough for Miami Thrice, I'd still probably take the Miami concoction over them though.

If I had my way in about 2 or 3 years we would see:

Miami-James, Wade, Bosh

NYK- Amare, Melo, Paul

LAL-Kobe, Gasol and Deron Williams

Boston- Rondo, Durant, Dwight Howard

Seems crazy, but I could see something similar happening.

How is Boston going to acquire Durant? Didn't he just sign an extension with the Thunder?

As a Knick fan, I would be SHOCKED to see this in NYC.

That being said, it is more than possible. Eddy Curry's contract comes off the books after this season. Azibuke and Turiaf come off in 2012. The Knicks would have to work out a trade of some sort to clear more cap room, but I have heard some rumblings.

That one would take longer. And remember that is just what I would personally want to see. Maybe in about 5 you see Durant, Howard and DWill or Wall team up?

I believe Durant feels like the Thunder are a good team in the making. He was at their Summer League game the other day cheering on his potential teammates. Really humble dude that seems to get it. I enjoyed his tweet during the LeBronathon announcing his new extension. He is the anti-LeBron... for now at least.

:thumb: I agree 100%, that is why he is my new favorite player and the Thunder are now my favorite team.
