UK b-ball fans have nothing on UT football fans.

 

The football players hit and kicked an off-duty police officer who was there and tried to break up the fight. He was sent to the hospital.

 

A fan called into the local radio station saying that the Knoxville Police need to be looked into for having an off-duty police officer at a bar.He actually tried to say the officer was somehow to blame in this when he was nailed by 7 football players.

The bar owner may have added some problems for UT.

 

She was quoted as saying that UT football and basketball players get VIP treatment ie they do not have to pay the cover and they do not have to abide by the dress code. My guess is that comment will catch the attention of the NCAA.

Janzen Jackson of the pellet gun hold up is being questioned today as his name was "signed in on the VIP list". This is aso projected starter at Safety Darren Myles 2nd arrest since Dooley took over. Dooley has talked a lot about cleaning up this program, let's see what he does. WBIR.com has a video up of the Rogers and Evans "running" from jail this morning. This program is embarassing to say the least.

I was asked by a good friend which is more important to me...beating UT in football this year in Knoxville or cutting down the nets next April...EASY choice for me. Down goes the Vols!

Dooley just kicked Myles off of the team. That will be a pretty big blow to them for sure. Walls and King have been suspended indefinately. They were projected defensive starters as well.

Rogers was Dooley's star recruit that he swooped in and took from UGA at the last minute. I think the rest belong to the Fulmer regime. Myles was possibly Lame's.

He really had no choice on Myles. His 2nd arrest in less than 4 months, but yes - kudos to a coach that will actually do this.
