I've been shopping there off and on for the last 8 or 9 years maybe - regularly for the last 5 or so. As I understand it, it was originally just a small-time "record label" for a couple Cincinnati bands (I know The Word Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter Violation Ponys were on the Shake It label) and the label's mail order operations eventually evolved into a store. I think the current location on Hamilton Ave in Northside is their second location.
