July 26, 201115 yr Lemonheads - It's A Shame About Ray This one made a little bit of a splash because of the Mrs. Robinson cover, but the title track and Hannah & Gabi both leave that song in the dark. Great album.
August 1, 201115 yr Here's a video of my favorite George Harrison song. Figured I'd post it since 40 years ago today George Harrison (and Ravi Shankar) put together the Concert For Bangladesh. The video may not be from the show - although you can watch PLENTY of it on YouTube - but in my opinion, it's the best live version of the song that I've heard. Listening to this song will forever remind me of being a little kid and listening to my dad play Beatles records for me in the living room.
