I really liked them paNDA and also your humor. Thanks!!!

Thanks, the strangest thing is stuff is going on all over the field. Hard to know who is doing what and where. Enjoyed it none the less.

As a long-time "track guy", I appreciate the thread!

Not sure but I thought the Highlands girl edged her out. I will defer to the paper in the morning. Hard to tell with my eye in the camera.

It seemed like Cov Cath brought their A game and ran with a purpose. They overall dominated the boy's events. CCHS won it all for the girl's.

Make that 7 pics. But a great race

Glad to hear this. Hopefully they will get even better between now and state and have a realistic chance of winning state again. That would be awesome!

Perhaps a bit off-subject, but when I was in high school (back when History was called "current events"), relays were worth more points than individual events in a "regular" track meet.

Our school hosted a "relays" meet each season where everything was a relay; even field events. Your best high jumpers, discus throwers, etc. results were totalled and treated as a relay. I assume that the Dixie Relays are run in a similar fashion?

This meet was the Nothern Kentucky Athletic Conference Championship. It was hosted by Dixie this year, but it rotates around Northern Kentucky each year. The whole meet is relays. Great competition and the pictures were good on this thread.

Results are in... congrats to all.

Great pics of Maria Weyer of Highlands and Anna Carrigan of Campbell County dueling it out. Two of the better sprinters in NKY. Maria won by .01 sec.
