March 17, 201016 yr I'd love to join you guys for a day of hoops on Friday, but I'll be watching it at my desk. Maybe the later rounds.
March 17, 201016 yr I'd love to join you guys for a day of hoops on Friday, but I'll be watching it at my desk. Maybe the later rounds. Every time I think about playing hoops I think about the last time I tore my ACL, pulling up around the free throw line and my knee didn't stop going, it looked pretty similar to how the guy from Purdue tore his, minus me being a stud, I was still pretty athletic back then though. Now all I can think about is how I dropped about 6-8 inches on my jump since then and gained about 25 lbs. If I had to guess both may've played a slight part in my vertical decreasing. Heck I even bench about 60 lbs less than I used to back then. Gosh it feels crappy knowing you'll be 26 in August and your peak physically as of now was when you were about 20. Well, I'm not really sure which part of my post triggered your response, but it sounds like you'll struggle to score one-on-one. And did you say bench press? Bench press? We're talkin about bench press?

We're talkin about bench press? It just got me to thinking about playing ball I miss it so much. I used to play 5-6 days a week til I was about 19. Then forgot my knee brace at a local gym and a guy I knew grabbed it so no one else did. Needless to say I didn't see him for a couple months and he died in a car wreck and since then I've been without a knee brace and pretty much too scared to get back on the court without it.
March 18, 201016 yr Author I still hate school, but I certainly love basketball in March. Even the NIT is fun.
