Coach Listerman took over for Coach Tieman in 2000. Coach L picked up his 200th varsity victory this past season. Prior to taking over the head coaching position he served as Coach Tieman's assistant coach (JV coach) from 1985 to 2000. Coach L also had over 200 victories as Cov. Cath's JV coach. :dancingpa

So he has been at CCH for 25 years, nice run! How many years did he coach at Harrison Co?

From 2002 - 2008, Listerman took the Colonels to five 9th region finals in seven seasons with two titles and three runner-up trophys and one final four.

Why is Coach L being brought up in this thread? Someone hearing some chatter from Cov Cath? I know several players and parents who would be very happy if a change was made next year.

A few years ago, Coach Mullins from Ryle was thought to be on the hot seat. Has this passed?

I was just wondering how long he has been there, I knew it's been awhile.

I think the late season run by Ryle took a lot of pressure off Mullins. If they hadn't put that run together, I think Ryle would have seriously considered a change.

I heard a rumor that Coach Henley was following Rico to OU but I can't believe that he would give up the money he is making as principal at Holmes for an assistant's job.

I am not sure how long the rule has been in place, but this is not allowed now by the NCAA for any coach to follow their player.
