Were you there? I just got a text from a friend who was there and they said the shooter was knocked down. If that's the case, it was an easy call. I must admit, I wasn't there and I wasn't listening either.

I was maybe 25 feet from where the call was made. Gallatin's Zach Jones never touched him!!!!! Call was made very late also. Will be seeing this one on youtube very soon I'm sure!!!!

If i was from goshen i would question the last call also. I'm sure not being there makes it easier.

Shame it wasn't important enough of a game for u to attend. I don't think I post an accusation about a call if I wasn't even at the game. Hearsay.....real good!!!

South seems to be getting all the calls in this tournament. Could it be the refs are from the 6th and know this team? I mean they shot 38 foul shots in the first round, and tonight they got the game given to them.

I'm the den leader for my son's cub scout pack. The meetings are set at the beginning of the school year. Trust me, I wanted to attend, but had 10 youngsters counting on me.

 

I'm certainly not taking a side here. If it was a bad call, it was a bad call. I didn't mean to allude that you were wrong. My friend probably had a completely different angle.

SO has a fine team and I wish them nothing but the best in the final. In fact I hope they win the region.

The one ref made himself the most important part of the game with all the bad calls. The one at the end was just the icing on the cake. GC boys deserved better than that. Congrats to South Oldham. Hope they win the whole thing now.

The fact is that this game was too good to be decided by that. You never take the game out of the players hands. In this situation I think the true deciding factor is the shooter. Jackson's 3 was a fade away 23 footer that there is no way you make that call. I wouldn't use the word screwed, but definitely a call that most wouldn't want to see decide a game.

 

One thing that you can say to Gallatin fans is that IF you have the ball with :30 left in a tie game you simply cannot turn it over the way they did giving a 2 on 1. You likely lost the game on that possession. One can always blame refs, but GC shouldn't have been in that situation that it would come down to that call. They had to have a shot when the game was tied and likely a last shot that made the game OT or a win. Never complain if you don't take care of that ball in that situation and moreover when you are up 26-9 you cannot let it be 2 or 3 at the half. I personally thought the game was lost then.
