Boone County 42 Ryle 41

I thought it was interesting that Fookes had the girls foul Ryle at the end of the game up until they were going to get into the bonus situation. What is the reasoning behind this? They weren't going for the steal; just fouling. It obviously worked... was it so Ryle wouldn't have a long time to set up a play?

BTW, congrats to all the girls from Ryle and Boone (and the district all tournament members). Both teams deserve to play for the 9th Region Championship!

Not even trying to get into a ref issue, but if how can a team that is in highly contested, defensive, rivalary game have extra fouls to give with only 1 minute to go in the 4th quarter. I know in the HHS, NCC game both teams were in the bonus long before that.
