I have read that but wanted some information from people that know about him.

He is a pretty good coach. He knows the Franklin system well. Also was a OC/DC at Henry Clay for a while. Most coaches at LCA are hands off in the off season so I'm not sure about the training aspect (they have a school provided weight trainer). As long as he can handle the public relations side of being a HC he should do fine.

Taylor County makes a great hire in Curtis Cotton. He is a great coach and a family man. He will build the Taylor County program on the foundation of character, accountability, and hard work. The way I understand it, the administration wants to be a 3a Boyle County. If they intend to support the program in that manner then I feel like Coach Cotton will no doubt succeed. I know he is a proven coach x and o wise and he knows what it takes to succeed on the highest levels (shown by his 3 trips to the state finals). He will build the program in a step by step approach and will raise the level of expectations. Coach Cotton will be an assest to the football program, the school, and the community.
