I'll take that. A nice draw would be great. I know Boone and Ryle can't play in the 1st round. Can they play in the semis? I would really like to only have to face one of them if possible. One can hope.

NCC will need to beat both Ryle and Boone to advance to the state tourney. And Ryle will need to beat both NCC and Boone to advance to the state tourney. That would seem to make Boone's road a little easier.

Alot easier. I would think Boone will be rooting for NCC. Not saying Ryle is better than NCC. Just think Boone has seen enough of Ryle.

Since Ryle and Boone have to be on opposite sides of the Regional bracket, NCC's path to the Regional title will have to go through them both, assuming of course Boone and Ryle win their 1st round games or NCC plays Ryle in the 1st round. Good luck to all teams remaining.

 

It would be a huge upset for anyone other than Boone, Ryle, or NCC to win the Region. Given the past upsets in the 9th, I'm picking Ryle to cut down the nets.

As I said earlier in the year...the 9th region (and NKY) is way down except for the top 3, perhaps 4, teams.

I assume one of the 4 is gone. So with them out. How do you see it going. Boone has a huge advantage only having to get thru only NCC or Ryle. While they have to get by eachother then Boone in the final. It is what it is. Are there anyother teams you've seen that would have a chance to cut down the nets. I have not.

Now, I'm pretty sure there is a chance that Boone could have to beat both of them as well...right? if BC and NCC are placed on the same bracket they could play each other in the 2nd round...thus giving Ryle the huge advantage.

Yes, because of the 36th not sending its best two teams to the region. Boone, NCC, or Ryle, will get a favorable draw. NCC will have to play both Ryle and Boone it looks like to get to the final unless Boone or Ryle gets upset. Does anyone give ND a chance to make some noise?

Bottom line is NCC is definately going to have to beat both to win it. While Boone, or Ryle can get lucky and only have play one of the other 2. Thanks again to 36th district not sending its best teams. The rest of the region loves us. NCC will just have to get down to work.
