The drawings of the seniors is a great tradition at CCH. I'd love to know the story behind each of them. The Max Pauly picture made me laugh with him wearing a 94 state championship sweatshirt.

That's ugly on both sides. Combined for 16/31 from the line.

I was told when I asked Max about the traffic cone on his head, that in his sophomore year that all the players shaved their heads and his head was sort of shaped like a cone.

 

He told me his Dad was one of the coaches of the football team that year, and he proudly wears it to school every day.

 

It is indeed a very neat tradition that the has been carried on for years and years at CovCath and the players to a man proudly take done the art work and take it home with them.

 

Always nice to earn a victory on Senior Night.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mattie Klein #21 told me his was him hitting a golf ball with his baseball bat.

 

Prior to the JV game when hardly anyone was in the gym, the Seniors were looking at the art work and taking pictures and talking and laughing about how they looked in the pictures on the wall.

 

Loved how before the tip off, Trever Wellbrock went down the line of Crazies and gave his fellow Seniors a high five.

What a great tradition and it takes the seriousness out of the game for a night and makes it fun for the kids. Who did the artwork?

 

By the way CovCath fans what did you think of the MC frosh on the court tonight? Dominique Hawkins will be a future Mr Basketball candidate. I also believe a couple other frosh either start or play a ton.

My guess is that it was done by the Art IV class that Mr. Haders runs. He's a legend in both art and wiffle ball at CCH.

When I saw the picutre of Conner Graves drawing, I thought it was really him standing there! :laugh:
