Do any of the freshman start for the JV or dress for varsity? In some cases(Mason Monroe), if you play JV or varsity you don't play freshman ball.

Jordan Martin gets regular playing time each game on the Varsity level. The top 8-10 freshman players all play junior varsity and is mostly the reason why they have had such a successful season. Jordan is an amazing passer to be a freshman and plays great defense when Harrison presses.

If I were Reitz, I would stay. Very good group of kids who will help win a lot of games, assuming all of them remain playing basketball throughout the next three years.

True statement that standout talent never steps on court as freshmen. The standout talent currently that I'm aware of is: McGovney, Prewitt, and Monroe.

 

Harrison Co. staff made a decision to keep its core players together and hopefully it'll pay dividends. The core of players is about 8-9 deep with one of the players being an eighth grader and the rest are freshmen. Adding that group with a couple of sophomores getting varsity minutes this year and we'll be pretty strong in two years.
