Final from Sandy Hook. Elliott locks up #2 seed in the 62nd and will be taking on West the #3 seed while East and Morgan will play.

 

 

 

Elliott Co. (15-6) -- Nickell 18, Faulkner 24, Fraley 4, Flannery 6, Frazier 5, Knipp 21, Dickerson 4, Ison 22.

 

Finally a little diversity in the scoring for Elliott, and look at how many points they put up. Grant it Morgan is not that strong but they do have other players that can score and if they would involve everyone and Ison can stay out of foul trouble I still think Elliott could make a run at the regional title.

Notice - everyone was involved...Elliott won by 49 points...

Actually if Morgan was to upset West Carter on February 4th the 3rd and 4th seed in the 62nd district would go to a coin toss. But I just don't believe Morgan can do it.

If they don't get others involved then they have no shot at Regional. With performances like these we can see the potential in Elliott County and they can make a run and possibly make an appearance at Rupp. Good win and hopefully they can continue to get others involved because they are a very good team and it makes it more frustrating when they become one demential instead of playing like we all know they can. Great Win and I am so happy to see the stat line. Great Game to Watch!

Morgan doesnt have the size that Fairview has. 5-8 can get there shots off vs Morgan but not Fairview.
