They have played the OVC tournament there on many occasions. I have no idea how that building is not condemned. It makes Freedom Hall look like the Biltmore.
February 23, 201016 yr I am not sure how the tiebreaker situation works out with Eastern Kentucky and Austin Peay? The OVC is also supposed to have some kind of an announcement today about future scheduling and Nashville being more of a "destination". Whatever that is supposed to mean? 16 of the past 17 OVC tournaments have been in Nashville. Lunardi was asked about Murray State and he said the only way the Racers get in is via the OVC tournament, despite potentially reaching 30 wins before the OVC championship. Does anyone know if a 30 win team has been left out of the NCAA tournament? I cannot disagree with him. Murray State plays at Morehead State on Thursday and Eastern Kentucky on Saturday. It would not shock me to see them lose both games. They each have two more games which could work the tie situation, also EIU with two more games could factor into a three way tie.

March 6, 201016 yr Bridgestone Arena is a nice facility but the hospitality room is comparable to a Jr. Pro game...Actually, there's no ice, nothing to eat (since there were like 2 bowls of food for the entire night) and a small selection of soda or water...
