Sydney Moss got her 1,000 point at the 7:10 mark in the third quarter of the game last night. A turnaround jumper in the lane.

The folks at Scott recognized Sydney at the next dead ball.

Congratulations to Sydney on her accomplishment.

Congrats Syd, many more to come! :dancingpa

Kind of funny that about 800 of them were from different schools.

How many years did she play varsity for Heritage?

3. and 1 at ryle

The court is 84ft and the rim is 10ft in every HS gym...1000 points is a great accomplishment and nothing else matters.

Congrat's Syd. You are a great player and a better person! We are proud of you!

7th grade she played varsity at Heritage, 8th grade she played varsity at Ryle. 9th grade a half year at Ryle and currently 10th grade year at Boone.

Thanks Basketball Fever and congratulations to Sidney. Hard telling how many points she may end up with at this rate.

260 points at Heritage as a 7th grader in 21 games, 285 at Ryle in 19 games after being brought up from the middle school team as an 8th grader, 185 at Ryle in 13 games (not all in a starting role) after starting late and leaving the team as a freshman, and now 282 in 13 games as a sophomore at Boone.

If she had played the games at Ryle that she could have played, or had she gone to Boone after Heritage, that total would likely be approaching 1500!

Sky is the limit for this young lady, work hard and reach for the stars, make us all proud of you Syd!

Whats the situation with Moss? The question meaning why does she live in NKY.

Good for Sydney and hopefully her luck continues.
