No real upsets tonight, pretty much what everyone expected.

Any updates?

Top team in the 6th grade tournament is Kammerer out of Louisville. They have the best 6th grader in the state. He is a 6'1 stud named Malique Dowe. He has a teammate named Brandon Wells that is one of the best PG in the state. I would really be suprised if they got beat. Elkhorn or Adair Co. will probably play them in the finals. Adair has the best swing man in 6'0 Chance Melton. Very nice player that plays the big man role but runs the floor and shoots like a guard. Elkhorn is probably the only team that has a chance at upsetting Kammerer because they are big and physical. Two other players that would round out a hypothetical all tournament team are Braxton Beverly PG from R.W. Combs and Riley Hall PG/2G from Northern (Pulaski Co.).

Congrats to Louisville Cammerer on winning the 6th Grade Middle School State Tournament. Also happy to see the showing that Adair Co. made. Coach Greg Lundy has done a great job with these boys and I am looking forward to seeing what kind of progress the team will make over the next few years.

I would throw the Walton 6th grade team in with these 3. Walton beat Gray by 3 at Walton.

Owen County beat Walton by 6.

Where is Elkhorn at? I know there is an Elkhorn City in eastern KY but I believe there is a second in Franfort.
