This is a very nice victory for the Wildcats playing in the Kentucky Bank Shootout at Bourbon County. Transfer Point Guard Demarko Foster led the Wildcats with 21 and Anthony Luther hit the game clinching FT's to seal it with 3 seconds left. Sizemore was hot from 3pt land and for the Defenders Phil Barner the transfer from Mason Co had 15n11.

NEWPORT (4-0) — Luther 15, Foster 21, McDaniel 6, Jones 3, Sizemore 11, Tucker 3, Collins 7.

BRYAN STATION (2-3) — Barner 15, Fain 7, Andrews 4, Evans 10, Waide 10, Demus 3, Ball 7, Baffour 6, Renfro 3.

Newport 19 12 24 11—66

Bryan Station 12 15 17 21—65

Newport continues to roll. This is a great win for the Wildcats.

Andrews only having 4 really surprises me. The kid is 6'10 and Newport's biggest player is probably 6'5.

Great job boys. Very nice win.

Good to see the Cats doing well in hoops. Is Foster the transfer? What school?
