Closer than I thought.

Not me, when these two rivals play it is always a battle.

GRC 16 19 14 21 70

MCHS 15 14 10 18 57

Montgomery County fought and fought. Very proud of our team.

But we out dunked them.....:D

I thought for sure that Clark Co. was 25 points better than anybody in the 10th region but I guess not. I mean they have the best 5 players in the region in Stenzel, Zollo, Purvis, Roger, and Daniel. Chemistry has to be an issue!?!?!?!?!

Why would you say that, you trying to start something? You are so far off base. No chemistry problems at all. We played our rival in Montgomery Co....knew it would be a battle. I knew if we got out of there with a 10+ win we would be lucky. 3 players in double figures and one with 8.

I've seen a lot of teams have chemistry problems this season.

With the best 5 players in the region you should beat Montgomery by more. Maybe the Indians were just hungrier? Anyway if Clark Co. wants to live up to the expectations as the best team in 10th region history then they need to pick it up! I can never remember a 10th region team having the best five players and one of the best coaches in the region.

The only chemistry problem, if any, would be that Corey Rogers has only been with the team for a few weeks. He played football. Other than that very deep. Seemed like a constant stream of bodies at the scorers table.

As I said before...big rival game...I didn't expect to win by more. Montgomery Co is VERY well coached too.

Don't worry about the Cards "picking it up" Kindred didn't play last year and Travis is coming back from a major knee surgery. I have said before , we will take some lumps this year...one of the tuffest schedules in the state. Come March the Cards will be ready. :thumb:

Thanks mcc, you were at the game so I know you know what you are talking about. Is GRC going to blow every team out...heck no. But we are 4-0. I will take that.:thumb:

There is no chemistry problem with this team at all. The team has a core that will be difficult to overcome. It does not matter who they put on the floor, they play as a team. These players are family. Montgomery is our main rival, any rivalry game should be close regardless of who is on the floor. The Alabama-Auburn Football Game this year is a great example. With the talent Alabama had, Auburn should not be on the same field as them, but the game was close. That is why you play the game. Overall, GREAT win for the Cards! Anytime the Cards can beat the Indians in the "New Barn" is a satisfying win for me! Now go get after Male tomorrow night at Letcher Norton! :thumb:
