Ryle 65 Scott 35

Featured Replies

Ryle led from the start with Abbey Jump with 20 points-six 3 pointers, Cheesman with 15 and Crittendon with 12. Lauren Tibbs was high scorer for the game with 21. Ryle goes to 2-0. Ol' Miss, Marquette and NKU recruiters were in attendance.

Any other team stats?

Williams-2 points, Meyer-2 points, Douthit-5 points, Oliverio-4 points for Ryle.

Stinson-6 points, Jackson-1 point, Kraft-4 points, Kauhse-3 points.

I'm not sure what the shooting percentages were or rebounding.

Tibbs really draws the recruiters. She's a solid all around player!

She is an emerging talent. I love her footwork and her court awareness. Ryle is just loaded with athletes. I can't wait for the Boone-Ryle game.

The score was Ryle 60 Scott 35. I appologize for the mistake.

Actually saw The Ole Miss Head Coach talking to Oliverio after the game. In talking to people close to the situation Crittendon is being looked at by NKU and Marquette. Also heard that Oliverio knew the Marquette coach would be in attendance. Good game for all to see with all the talent on the floor. Crittendon is a major D1 talent and only a Soph. She is a very athletic all

around player who plays the game very hard.

That's interesting. I would think that is an NCAA violation. (unless there are some new rules)

Assuming they were talking to the player, not the coach. It gets confusing with that many parents involved.

She was talking to Ryle's Head Coach who is Patti Oliverio.

Don't you think blue pride and msc1492 would be able to tell the difference between Ryle's coach talking to a recruiter and a player. Why even take a side swipe in regards to Ryle's coaches having daughters on the team. Why do so many people have problems with Ryle's girl's team?

Tibbs is just a Jr right?

As I understand....yes. Is she getting many looks from Div 1?

Per NCAA rules, October 7, 2009 through February 28, 2010, is an "Evaluation Period" (With the exception of Nov. 9-12, 2009, and Dec. 24-26, 2009) so coaches can be off campus in that period as one of their allowable 100 recruiting-person days (A recruiting person day is defined as one coach engaged in an off-campus recruiting activity of a women’s basketball prospect on one day; two coaches engaged in recruiting activities on the same day shall use two recruiting days).

The college coach may watch a prospect play or visit their high school, but cannot have any in-person conversations with the prospect or her parents off the college's campus. The recruit and their parents can visit a college campus during this period. A coach may write and telephone the prospect or her parents during this time.

Tibbs is a junior and as I understand it, there are many D1 schools looking and evaluating her. She has a number of offers as well.

NKU, Ole Miss and Miami of Ohio were in attendance at the Ryle game. Marquette was not in attendance. According to Lauren's family, Marquette is extremely interested, but they are coming to a game later in the year.
