The best players I have seen in college football this season are Ndamukong Suh, Mark Ingram, and Golden Tate.

 

The fact Tebow and McCoy are in discussion (with McCoy possibly leading the way) shows how much of a joke the Heisman truly is. To me neither of them should realistically be in the discussion. I think Jordan Shipley has been more valuable to Texas this season than Colt.

Gearhart or Suh look like the 2 best players in the country right now. But neither plays for a current national power, which makes it tough. Suh is a defensive player so that makes his road even tougher. Golden Tate should be in the discussion, but the only talk about ND is the coaching situation and he won't get his due in this voting.

 

Ingram may have the inside track because of Bama's current status, but I would vote for Gearhart or Suh.
