Sounds like FC rolled Roe not as tough a challenge as Murray

 

I am not sure if I agree with this. I think FC was caught sleeping a little and not really ready for the size in the Murray game and came into this game a little more prepared and was able to make some adjustments at halftime. The interceptions made a big difference IMO. It was a very good game between two great Falcon teams.

 

It seems that the Monroe County folks all made it home safely, I am glad for that. I was very impressed with the crowd of folks that came over to watch their team, by far the largest visiting crowd that FC has seen all year long.

Great game Falcons!!! Both ours and Fc's. Monroe kinda shot themselves in the foot with penalties and three interceptions, but hey, Fc played a wonderful game. I am not sure even eith a great effort on our part that we could beat these falcons.

 

Great to finally meet everyone from FC. Go get em in the championship!!!!

I just want to point out that Fc has very many good athletes on both sides of the ball. Andrews is really talented, but he is just one factor for this team. IMO Tre Powell is the defensive star. He was everywhere last night, hect, I even think he popped the popcorn at half!!! Seriously though, great win for a top notch program and fan base. I will definatley be cheering for the Falcons...once a Falcon, always a Falcon!!!

Once again some Miss Kim took some great pictures, can't wait to see the rest of them.

Great job Fort Campbell Falcons! This group just continues to amaze me every game. They are truly playing inspired football, TW73.

 

Monroe County is a class act and a great program. Neil Wilson is legit and I wish him and all the MC seniors the best. The sportsmanship displayed during the last two FC games against Murray and Monroe is the way the game should be played, all three teams have great coaches, players, fans, and communities.

 

One more game Falcons, enjoy this week, but stay focused on your goal.

As to the Monroe players, not enough can be said about how important these Seniors have been to our program, they have laid the foundation that we can continue to build on and in my opinion there’s no better testament to what type player you are than legacy you leave behind you.

Next year we return roughly 8 starters on offense and several on defense and whatever we may be able to accomplish will in large part be because of the hard work and dedication to program that the seniors have made the standard not the exception. I have no doubt these seniors will go on to be successful in whatever endeavors they pursue if they continue to play the game of life the way they played the game of football…

Congratulations Class of ’09, keep your chest out and your heads high…

The same is true for our Fort Campbell Seniors. They are one of, if not the most successful senior classes in Fort Campbell history and have a chance to do something no other 2A team has ever done. These seniors came in as freshman in 2006 following the heart breaking loss in the regional championship to Owensboro Catholic. The 2005 seniors were an outstanding group of athletes, but could not get over the regional or OC hump. These seniors have not only gotten over the hump, they have demolished it. They have endured multiple deployments, tragedies, and triumphs that most teams never experience. Great job Falcons, you are truly a special group.
