Final.

Well, I was wrong. I thought it would be a close game.....wasn't close at all. Trigg seemed to be hanging in once the Falcons got to 14, but then it got away from them quickly.

Trigg couldn't handle the Falcons offense nor could they run/pass very well against the stingiest defense in 2A.

Go Falcons! I'm really lookin' forward to headin' to Murray to take care of business there.

Later.

Nice game for the Falcons and one step closer to the ultimate goal. I also look forward to Murray which is just another step on the way to Bowling Green.

Not a typical Falcon game, but another lopsided win nonetheless. Congrats Falcons and time to gear up for Murray and the Regional Championship.

That's what makes the Falcons so dangerous.

For those that weren't in attendance.....Andrews didn't run the ball very much, Berner went with a passing attack.....suprisingly mostly a vertical attack (I thought Al Davis was calling the plays).

Much different from what everyone was used to seeing from the Falcons.

Later.

Andrews was 10-of-22 passing for 232 yards and five touchdowns, four of those to Tre Powell (6 catches 133 yards).

Fort Campbell was surprisingly held to 72 rushing yards on 23 carries against a Trigg team whose run defense is pretty good. But they couldn't contain Powell and Crank (3 catches 56 yards) at receiver.

Troy Turner played one play. No carries.

Falcon defense shut down the passing game, which allowed them to stack the box with 8-9 guys. Trigg had 166 yards on 45 carries.

Trigg ran 60 plays, had the ball 30 minutes, and had 229 total yards.

Fort Campbell ran 45 plays, had the ball 18 minutes and had 304 yards.

Murray doesn't come within 30 points of Fort Campbell next week.

Great job Falcons!!! Now gear up for a battle of the unbeaten...Make em wish they were Falcons!!!!:thumb::thumb:

Nice win for the Falcons!

Good Luck against the other undefeated... Murray.

Nice effort from Trigg. IMO they were the toughest 2A team Fort Campbell has faced so far and I’m going to predict that they will be a force to contend with in 2A next year.

Another win for the best team in 2A. Murray had better be ready because FC will be. As Monroe Co. fan hope we can get by Green so we can play FC again.

Congratulations to Fort Campbell
