Eminence 30 Ludlow 12

Tough for the Panthers. I know they weren't at full strength, but that's no excuse. Good job Warriors and good luck next week against the Tigers.

Congrats to Eminence! Always a team that leaves it all on the field.

First off congrats to Eminence on the win. This game was much closer than the final score indicates. The score was still just 14 to 12 in the third quarter. The turning point of the game came when Ludlow was pinned down at their own end zone and had to punt. There was a high snap that the punter did a good job to save from going over his head, he then ran around to try to get away from the Eminence players, and it looked like he tried to kick it or something, but the ball came back out and the Eminence players jumped on it for the touchdown and then they got the two point conversion to go up 10. So obviously would have been better if they just took the safety. Ludlow still had chances to come back, and Ashcraft of Ludlow broke off a long 30 yard run to the Eminence 35 yard line and when he hit the ground he lost the ball. Everyone in the whole stadium knew he was on the ground except for the one line judge who ruled it was a fumble. It seriously was a horrible call and I think Eminence people would agree with that. I not saying that is why Ludlow lost because I mean they were still down 10 and who knows if they would have even scored on that drive after that play. However that was a huge call by the ref to call that a fumble. Eminence was able to add on another touchdown and 2 point conversion with 3 minutes to go when taking over on a short field after a turnover on downs. It was a really good game to see, and I wish Ludlow won. However I do wish Eminence luck the rest of the way.:thumb:

For the seniors of Ludlow you all had a great season and great careers at Ludlow. You all have made all of us Ludlow faithful proud, and you all will be missed.
