To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, here are the coverage maps I'm referencing. The first is AT&T, the second Verizon. For AT&T, what you see in the dark blue is 3G coverage. The darker orange is called "Best" for the voice coverage, meaning you can be in a building and talk. The lighter it goes, the worse it is, until you reach what I guess is tan, where you are basically unable to use it.

For Verizon, the dark blue covers Mobile Broadband and V-CAST availability. The yellowish is "Extended Broadband & V-CAST" whatever that means. The green is not broadband, and is listed as extended enhanced services. The white is no coverage. Bowling Green is down towards the bottom of the map, inside one of those yellowish zones. We have basically something that is OK, not great.

Is that 3G in E-town thru AT&T?

Yep, that's E-Town.

You would think any college town would have great 3G coverage.

I got this phone the other day and love it. Its my first "smart phone" so I am still trying to figure it all out. I find new things everyday to learn.

And I haven't used an Iphone much but I feel like this thing is faster than I remember an Iphone being; not even just Internet. Also, I love the keyboard. I'm not very good at typing on touch screens, although this one does make it easier if necessary with really convenient word predictions.

I have an Iphone and love it but AT&T's 3G coverage is absolutely AWFUL. If you are not in a town of considerable size forget about it.
