No. Anyone can win one game. The National Champion in football isn't the best team at the end of the year. It's the team that plays best one day against one other good team. I don't think they are a joke. Their schedule is a big joke though.

No they should be penalized for not scheduling an OOC game against another BCS school. Everyone else in the top 5 of the BCS has at least 1 BCS OOC game.

The Big 12 is down this year. Pre season the Big 12 looked to be very tough, which would have made Texas schedule hard enough without scheduling a hard game out of the Big 12.

It also took a court ruling for UF to keep FSU on the schedule many years ago. Without it, UF would play less of an OOC schedule than Texas or anyone else in the country. At least Texas went on the road and out of state. Boise, UC and TCU's schedules are weak, when talking about a MNC type schedule. I don't necessarily think Texas is that great, but in the current state of CFB I don't know that we can penalize them for not scheduling tough OOC games.

I think the two best teams are probably Florida and Alabama. Texas, UC, Boise, and TCU are all very good too. I just wish teams couldn't get away w/ scheduling like Texas did. How do you not play any BCS school out of conference? It's not their fault completely either b/c the system still rewards them based on thinking they were good last year.
