There is no doubt that the military personel want the FK football program to be successful. Once inside the school there is no doubt that the school administration could care less if the football program is successful or not! The FK athletic programs need a complete overhaul and I am not talking from a coaching standpoint. They have coaches they just need to support their coaches and anyone who has ever been affiliated with FK athletics over the last few years knows exactly where it needs to start!

You're absolutely correct, however the military personnel in charge at Fort Knox have nothing to do with a complete overhall of the Fort Knox athletic program......we've gone down this road before with this discussion. :deadhorse: Most everyone knows what I have to say about beating a dead horse, so I won't repeat myself.

 

Hopefully Fort Knox can carry this momentum through the first round of the playoffs and end up in the second round on a three-game win streak.

I don't think that is what he is talking about. I think some of them (military personel) are very supportive...and yes they can play a part of the influence of what the school does...you would be nieve to think otherwise. And you are probably right about the CG talking to the coaches....he probably told them congratulations on the wins. Good luck to Fort Knox as they take on Green County! but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like Eagles! Isaiah 40:31

I hope so as well but even more than that I hope that these wins can somehow put pressure on the powers that be at the school to change the climate around FK athletics!

I just noticed on the KHSAA website that Shawnee had an administrative forfeit to Fort Knox, so now Fort Knox has won 3 games this year.
