October 31, 200916 yr I don't see why they would try to make it a cross, the stripe is on the back of the shirt too. The stripe is the only thing on their helmet and college football fans know that is what they are known for. I don't see the problem, the stripe goes vertical to resembal the helmet, if it were horizontal it wouldn't make sense and like someone else said the name could have been lower but it would be at the stomach and it would look like it was misprinted.
October 31, 200916 yr I would be offended if it were a cross. The Cross should never have a "swoosh" above it. C'mon, Pepper! A new slogan for Christianity: "Salvation....just do it!"
October 31, 200916 yr It seems obvious that they're trying to put the cross in there. Why else would you put a blue line in a WHITE OUT t-shirt? Have you noticed their helmets? They only have the same blue stripe and I think thats what being symbolized here... People need to quit crying about such unimportant things!
October 31, 200916 yr If it had said 144,000 instead of 110,000 I might buy into the alleged religious overtones. Nice Jim...I think that may have been one of your best quick hits ever.:notworthy: Seriously, how on earth could you get a religious message from the back of that shirt?

I have my moments … Seems to me it was just another in the long line of examples of America's New National Pastime: Looking for something to be offended over.
